Background

Established in 1956 as a pioneering business enterprise to manufacture Asbestos Roofing Sheets in Sri Lanka. Elephant Masconite Asbestos Cement roofing products are manufactured to Sri Lankan Standards Specification SLS 9 Part 1 & 11 of 1988 and British Standard Specification BS EN 494:1994. All products are manufactured at a fully automated plant where strict quality controls are enforced.
